FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017

FIFA Legend and Spanish World Cup winner Carles Puyol will open ticket sales for the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 on 16 May. Paying tribute to the year 1911 in which Mohun Bagan made Indian football history by winning the IFA Shield for the first time, ticket sales will start at exactly 19:11 (Indian Standard Time).

The first of a total of four sales phases will run from 16 May to 7 July and will provide fans with the opportunity to purchase Venue Packages that will include a 60% discount off normal ticket prices. The package will give ticket holders access to all matches taking place at the venue, and seats from Category 1, Category 2 and Category 3, all of which will be exclusively available on FIFA.com/india2017/ticketing. In practice, this means that fans purchasing a Kolkata Venue Package will be able to secure their seat in the World Cup final stadium for less than one hundred rupees.

Sales of individual matchday tickets will start with the exclusive Visa pre-sale phase on 7 July, after the Official Draw for the tournament has been conducted in Mumbai. Visa cardholders will be offered a 50% discount on tickets from 7 to 21 July. Following this, from 22 July to 5 October fans will be able to purchase individual matchday tickets with a 25% discount. They will also be able to buy tickets during the tournament at the original ticket price of INR 800 for Category 1, INR 400 for Category 2, INR 200 for Category 3, and INR 80 for Category 4.
