The Indian national football team will leave for the “+ONE India Caribbean Tour 2011” tomorrow. The revised travel schedule will see the Indian team flying from Delhi to the Caribbean via Kolkata, Dubai and London.

AIFF General Secretary Kushal Das: “It’s great the tour is happening. We wish the team the very best for the event.”

“I must thank the administration of the AIFF. Getting an alternate travel arrangement for so many at the 11th hour is never an easy task,” India coach Armando Coalco stated in an AIFF Press Release.

“This side has huge potential and needs to be groomed. It’s necessary to expose them to play against stronger sides. I have never seen national team players playing so well,” Colaco added.

The Indian team is excited about the upcoming tour. Striker Sunil Chhetri said everyone is raring to go.

“It’s not every day that one gets to play higher-ranked sides. The entire bunch is looking forward to the tour,” Sunil said.

Meanwhile, a heavy downpour in Delhi denied the team to practise on Friday afternoon. The players were forced to stay content with gym sessions and spending time in the swimming pool.
