The Indian U16 national team has kicked-off its 2012 Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXXIII campaign with a 0-1 loss against Dallas Texans White West.

The Indian team, placed in Bracket D along with Dallas Texans White West, Houston Dynamo U15 Pre Academy and West Coast FC, were unlucky in their first match of the prestigious international tournament.

India led by Uttam Rai conceded a solitary goal and will need to win their next game to keep their chances alive to progress to the knock-out phase of the competition.

The Indian juniors will face Houston Dynamo U15 Pre Academy in their second match on Monday. The match is scheduled to kick-off at 10.00 local time on FC Dallas Park Field #17.
