The German national team suffered a heavy defeat by the hands of Switzerland in an international friendly match on Saturday. Joachim Loew’s side lost the match 3-5 at the St. Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland.
Eren Derdiyok scored a hat-trick for the home side, while Stephan Lichtsteiner and Admir Mehmedi scored the two other goals. Mats Hummels, Andre Schuerrle and substitute Marco Reus scored for the Germans.
