The 67th Santosh Trophy 2013 scheduled to take place in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Kerala from February 1 to March 3, 2013.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has decided to run the prestigious competition with a new format. The twelve strongest teams from the last edition of the tournament will be seen in action in Qualifying Round I, while the remaining teams will compete in Qualifying Round II.

Two teams from each Qualifying Round I group will advance to the Quarterfinal Round, while only one team from each Qualifying Round II group would earn a spot in the Quarterfinal Round.

Defending champions Services, runners-up Tamil Nadu and losing semi-finalists Kerala and Manipur have been handed direct entries to the Quarterfinal Round.

The matches will be played in Kochi (Kerala), Kollam (Kerala), Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) and Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh). The semifinals (February 27 & 28) and final (March 3) of the 67th Santosh Trophy 2013 will be played in Kochi.
