Unit-6 Athl. Assn (Bhubaneswar) have won the final of the 25th Sarat Tripathy Memorial All Odisha Football Tournament 2013 played in Cuttack on Friday.

The Bhubaneswar side won the tournament with a 2-0 victory against Home Guard (Cuttack) courtesy to a brace by Bhabani Mohanty (23′ & 65′).

The new 25th Sarat Tripathy Memorial All Odisha Football Tournament 2013 champions were awarded with the Champion Trophy and a cash reward of Rs 15,000. Home Guard received the Runner-Up trophy and a cash reward of Rs 10,000.

MP Baijyanata Jay Panda was the Chief Guest of the final, while Prabhat Tripathy (MLA), Debashish Samantray (MLA & President Football Association of Odisha), Soumendra Ghose (MAYOR-CMC) and Sanjeeb Marik I.P.S (Spl. DG, Odisha Police) were also present besides Chief Speaker Asirbad Behera.

Sd. Mustafiz Ahmed (President, Chand Club) presided over the Winner’s Ceremony in the presence of Avijit Paul (Secretary, Chand Club).
