Kerala based Sports and Education Promotion Trust (SEPT) will sign a partnership agreement with UAE’s top club Al Ahli Club on Monday.

Al Ahli will establish a mentor-partner support system with SEPT as part of the partnership. Furthermore Al Ahli will provide SEPT access to its sporting facilities for advanced training and access to their team of qualified coaches, both for the SEPT players and coaches.

SEPT will in turn endeavor to promote viewership and club affiliations of the Al Ahli Club among Indians in the Middle East by highlighting the partnership through the Indian media.

Al Ahli is one of the leading and most admired football clubs in the UAE and has been a leading light in football in the Middle East ever since its establishment in 1970.

SEPT was founded in 2004 and today trains over 1900 children between the ages of 8 and 14 through its 51 centres which covers the 13 districts of Kerala. SEPT is an organization that seeks for talent among children from less privileged backgrounds especially in the semi-rural, rural, coastal and tribal regions of the state. While nurturing their talents SEPT endeavors to give them a footing in life by providing them with formal education and undertake to feed and clothe them should the need arise.

The partnership between SEPT and Al Ahli Club will be signed tomorrow at a press conference at the Al Ahli Club Media Centre. Shanavas C.K.P (UAE Coordinator, SEPT) and Ahmed Khalifah Hammed (CEO, Al Ahli Club) will attend the function to sign the partnership agreement.
