Kerala have won their 68th Santosh Trophy 2014 Final Round Group A encounter 4-0 against Uttarakhand at Siliguri’s Kanchenjunga Stadium today.
Gipson Justus opened the score sheet for Kerala, while youngster VP Suhair made it 3-0 with a fine brace to hand Kerala a comfortable lead at half-time.
Kerala, desperately needing a win after going down 1-3 to Mizoram on Monday, were in full control of the match and stayed focused throughout the match.
Nasarudeen C. sealed the victory with another goal for the former champions.
Kerala will face Maharashtra in their next Group A match on Sunday.
