Kerala went down 0-1 to Maharashtra in a Group A match of the Santosh Trophy Final Round at the Kanchenjunga Stadium in Siliguri on Sunday.
The first half happened to be a goalless affair and Maharashtra propelled their game in the second half.
Maharashtra scored the winner just moments before the final whistle to put them to the top of Group A ahead of Mizoram.
Kerala will face Services in their last Final Round Group A encounter on Tuesday.
