Churchill Brothers SC will look to get back to winning ways when they take on arch rivals Sporting Clube de Goa in what will be a crucial I-League encounter at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda Sunday.

The Red Machines will have Satish Singh back in the squad after serving a one match suspension. While Saran Singh, Sanjay Balmuchu, Raju Yumnam and Bineesh Balan will have to pass a late fitness test to make it to the squad.

Churchill Brothers lost to Dempo SC in their last I-League on the 28th of March 2014.

Churchill’s Technical Director Subhash Bhowmick said “The spirit in the team is high, however the lads have not recovered properly after their trip to Singapore. The team spent an entire day travelling and that has taken a toll on several players.”

“The boys will give their best and try to get all three points from this crucial encounter.”

“Sporting are a good team. They have an intelligent coach and a favourable mix of youth and experience.”

The Red Machines managed to secure three points over the Flaming Orange, thanks to a 95th minute goal by Jaison Vales in a thrilling 3-2 victory for the Varca based side in the first leg encounter of the Goan derby.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 17.00 IST at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda.
