The 6th FPAI Indian Football Awards 2014 will be held at the Park Hotel in Kolkata on April 29.

The Football Players Association of India (FPAI) will give away awards in five different categories namely “Best Young Player of the Year”, “Best Foreign Player of the Year”, “Best Indian Player of the Year”, “Best Coach of the Year” and “Fans Player of the Year”.

Football fans have the chance to vote online at the FPAI website www.thefpai.net for their favourite player in the “Fans Player of the Year” category. The eight nominees for the “Fans Player of the Year” are Karanjit Singh (Salgaocar FC), Arnab Mondal (East Bengal Club), Beikhokhei Beingaichho (Bengaluru FC), Balwant Singh (Churchill Brothers SC), Katsumi Yusa (Mohun Bagan AC), Boithang Haokip (Shillong Lajong FC), Victorino Fernandes (Sporting Clube de Goa) and Douhou Pierre (Pune FC).
