Newly crowned GFA Knock out Champions and Airtel Goa Pro League Champions, Sporting Clube de Goa will kick off their trials to induct youngsters into the SCG Academy in South Goa, from Monday 5th May till 8th May 2014.

The SCG Coaches have just finished a busy week in North Goa, where they have put candidates through their paces, in the U-14, U-16 and U-17 to U-20 age group category.

“We are extremely happy with the turn out in North Goa and have seen a lot of talented boys” remarked the Sporting Clube de Goa Head of Youth Development Mahesh Lotlikar.

On the final day, Sporting Clube de Goa Head Coach Oscar Bruzon came to have a look at the players and was also impressed with the turn out this week.

“It is extremely encouraging to see such a large number of boys attend the trials and we hope to see a similar response in South Goa,” remarked Oscar.

The venues for the SCG trials in South Goa will be Raia ground and Navelim ground. Sporting Clube de Goa is also keen to have tie ups in South Goa, to facilitate the training of South Goa based players.

Age group eligibility:
U-17, U-18, U-19, U-20 = Between 1st January 1995 and 1st January 1998
U-16 = On or after 1st January 1999
U-14 = On or after 1st January 2001
