In an all-Goan derby, Sporting Clube de Goa and Dempo Sports Club will meet in a Group A match of the 36th Federation Cup 2015 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda, on Thursday. The kick off time is 19.00 IST.

Dempo are on a high after defeating East Bengal Club 1-0 in their opening game courtesy of a Romeo Fernandes goal, which earned them the full three points.

Sporting Goa on the hand was dealt a nasty blow as they were defeated 0-1 at the hands of Mumbai FC and will now be looking to regroup and get back in the reckoning as they attempt to progress further.

When the two clubs met in the Goa Pro League this season, the match was tied 1-1. Joy Ferrao had scored for Dempo, while Victorino Fernandes came up with a timely equaliser for the Flaming Oranje that afternoon.
