The much awaited unique and pioneering 3rd edition of the “Al Kabeer Mumbai Rush Soccer Champions League I” will kick-off on Sunday (February 15). The tournament will be held over three Sundays i.e. February 15 & 22 and March 1 for boys scouted in the age groups U-10, U-12, U-14, and U-17, as well as girls in the U-12 and U-15 categories.

The player development league is designed to provide the best players selected from across the city over two months by the tournament’s Technical Director Andrew Thomson from Rush USA, to participate in a highly enthralling competition. The league’s objective is to provide high level competitive platform for players to display and hone their skill, and provide deserving players with elite player development opportunity which is very essential in development of the budding stars.

“Al Kabeer Mumbai Rush Soccer Champions League I” will be rewarding one overall best player with 15 days free training in the USA at Rush HQ in Colorado and the top player from each age group will receive free training for six months in Mumbai.

The winners of the previous edition were awarded Rs.10 lakh worth of training scholarship. Hamza Shaikh the find of the 1st edition is currently training and schooling along with Akram Khan under the guidance of Tim Schulz the former United States Women’s national team World Cup coach at their HQ in the USA under Rush Soccer Scholarship.
