This season, SV Werder Bremen will take to the field wearing a modern and eye-catching new home kit from Nike Football that features a bold new shade of the team’s famous green colorway.

The German football club switched back to their traditionally lighter green tone for the new home kit, bringing a sense of vibrant energy to Werder Bremen’s on-pitch look. The home kit also sports new white sleeves, connected by a white panel running across the shoulder blades.

The kit’s modern design updates are rooted firmly in the club’s heritage. White sleeves are a recurring feature in Werder Bremen kits since the 1960s, and the club’s 1974-75 kit included a similar shade of lighter green.

The shirt features a light green modern V-neck collar and a light green cuff on the sleeves, while a white stripe runs down each of the shirt’s flanks. The home shorts are also light green with a white stripe on both sides, designed to connect with the shirt’s stripes. On the back of the shirt are the club’s initials, SVW, which stand for Sportverein Werder Bremen (Sports Club Werder Bremen).

The new home socks also feature the new lighter shade of green, with Werder Bremen’s darker green represented on the back of the calf in a wide stripe of chevrons.

While the new home kit represents a proud symbol of the club, it also offers players the very latest in Nike performance innovation, fabric technology, moisture management and environmental sustainability.
