In the recently concluded Saran Corporate Soccer 5’s 2015 Indusind Bank beat JM Financials 4-1 to win the Champions Cup, the highest honour at the 14th Saran Corporate Soccer 5’s 2015 organised by Saran Sports.

A record 64 teams (56 men and 8 woman teams) and nearly 650 players participated in the above championship. The event was co-sponsored by Garnier Men, Tata Capital, Franklin Templeton, Indusind Bank and Carlsberg. The Associate Sponsors were Cadbury Bournville and Alea International Consulting were the partners.

The five-a-side challenger played on a round robin and knock-out basis witnessed close to 100 matches in both the Men’s and Women categories. The teams comprised of companies from a vast spectrum of industries which included the travel, hospitality, banking and entertainment sector amongst others.

There were overall ten different categories of championships after the league stage which were keenly contested. Garnier Player of the Match hampers were awarded for each match to the winners.

Salver: KPMG (George x 2, Arijid, Ashu) beat Barclays 4-0

Ladies Cup (Division I): Vodafone Mumbai (Mansi, Pari) beat BG India 2-0

Ladies Cup (Division II): Morgan Stanley (Hemangi) beat Thomas Cook 1-0

Premier Cup: Deutsche Bank (Mark, Gautam) beat Thomson Reuters (Aman) 2-1

Champions Cup: Indusind Bank (Vitesh  x2, Aamir, Coswil) beat JM Financials (Terence) 4-1

Elite Cup: WNS Global (John, Santosh, Arnold) beat JSW Steel (Rakesh, Nagesh) 3-2

Super Cup: Serco beat Ernst & Young on penalties 6-5
