Vialli and Tifosy to highlight support for fanfunding at Soccerex

The ’12th Man of Football Finance’ will be unveiled at this year’s Soccerex Global Convention, 7-9 September in Manchester. The crowd funding specialists Tifosy confirmed today that they will be delivering an insightful and thought provoking workshop on the future of football financing.

Featuring CEO Fausto Zanetton along with co-founder and brand ambassador Gianluca Vialli will touch upon previous campaigns, including helping Portsmouth Football Club. Tifosy successfully raised £270,000, the largest football crowdfunding project in the UK, to build two new pitches for their academy, as well as how the company aims to revolutionise the way football clubs are funded.

Fanfunding is emerging as a key revenue generator for a number of rightsholders who don’t have the advantage of a wealthy benefactor or commercial partnerships to fund new infrastructure projects. Leading the way in this ever expanding market is Tifosy, who provides a unique link between club and fans and enables everyone to invest in and support the football clubs that they love, in a fair and transparent way.
