The AIFF U-17 Colts defeated Indonesia’s Daftar Nama Kontingen 2-0 in the semifinals of the ongoing Subroto Cup 2015 at the Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi on October 14, 2015.

With this win, the AIFF U-17 Colts progresses into the final of the competition and will clash swords against Manipur Junior State Team on October 16.

Coming on the back of a 2-1 win over Swedish Club Side BK Häcken, the AIFF U-17 Colts took the lead in the 44th minute, after a goalless stalemate at half-time. Amal Das tapped the ball home following an Ashraf corner to hand the Indian colts a solitary goal lead.

Two halves of 35 minutes each comprised the match. And in the 55th minute the Indian colts doubled their lead as Bodo slotted home a penalty, after the referee pointed to the spot following an uncanny challenge in the 18 yard box.

The Indian defence thwarted the attacks of the Indonesian side and at the end of time the scoreline read 2-0 in favor of the AIFF U-17 colts.
