The Rajesh Wadhawan Group and Hrithik Roshan co-owned Indian Super League (ISL) team FC Pune City have announced that high performance manager Lee Taylor has joined the support staff roster.

“We are glad to announce Lee Taylor joining the support staff and I am sure he will further add to the fantastic support staff that we have built here at FC Pune City,” explained Head Coach David Platt.

Taylor started his physiotherapy career at Scarborough in the old Division Three, (League 2) becoming the youngest ever physiotherapist in the English Professional Football League. Besides he also worked with the Liverpool FC Academy, Wimbledon FC, Notts County, Wellington Phoenix amongst others.

Taylor, who was high performance manager with NorthEast United FC in the 2014 Indian Super League season, has already joined the team.

“We are delighted to have Lee a part of the sports medicine team. Lee’s presence as a Performance Rehabilitator will further aid in player performance and injury prevention”, said Modwel.

Taylor on his part was ecstatic to get a chance to return to India. “I am glad to be joining FC Pune City. I had a wonderful time last year in ISL and I was delighted on getting a call from David Platt to join his Sports Medicine Team. I’ve worked with some of the English lads before and I can’t wait to start my sojourn with Pune”, said the Englishman.
