Mohammedan Sporting Club kicked-off their 2015/16 Second Division League campaign in style with a 2-1 victory over debutants Guwahati FC in an Eastern Conference fixture on Saturday afternoon.
Taurus Manneh (42′) and Ajay Singh (44′) found the back of net that ensured full points for Mohammedan at their adopted home in Barasat Municipal Stadium.
Guwahati FC did not go down without a fight as Somide Adelaja (88′) pulled a goal back for the visitors.
