Rosary College Navelim scored a resounding 6-0 victory over Chowgule College Margao on Day 2 of the GFA Inter College Women’s League.

Rosary College dominated proceedings throughout the match and were on the offense mode right from kick-off. Seema Fernandes got the early goal for Rosary College with a fine tap in goal in the 7th minute of play to give Rosary College the lead.

Ansiva Vaz was the star of the match and scored four goals in the 16th, 30th, 34th and 50th minute of play. The second goal for Rosary College was a fine long range solo effort by Ansiva which gave the goalkeeper no chance to save. Ansiva Vaz was also little unfortunate and had two good attempts at goal which hit the crossbar.

Chowgule College made some efforts to move the ball forward but the strong midfield play by Rosary College denied them any opportunity to make attempts to score.
