In an exclusive 1-2-1 interview, Shaun Harvey, CEO of The English Football League (EFL) will be speaking about the Whole Game Solution proposals at the Soccerex Global Convention, 26th-28th September, Manchester.

At what is an exciting period in the history of the governing body, he will be providing an exclusive insight into the ongoing discussions that has been taking place behind the scenes at the League’s 72 clubs and how he believes that can aid the progression of football in the United Kingdom.

The new proposals were introduced last summer as the Football League transformed into what is now known as the English Football League –  the single biggest fundamental change in the League’s brand positioning since its inception in 1888.

Shaun will give a frank and honest assessment on the key elements of the proposals, the opportunities behind them and what could happen next.  His appearance at Soccerex will come days after a meeting between the League clubs when Whole Game Solution will be top of the agenda.

The Whole Game Solution proposals will ultimately be decided by EFL clubs with a 90% mandate required for any changes in membership.

Shaun has an excellent pedigree in the English game, having previously held high profile roles at Leeds United and Bradford City.  Now CEO at the EFL, where he has been on the Board of Directors since 2011, he heads up a diverse organisation faced with many complex challenges that require innovative and forward thinking solutions.

The Global Convention as a whole is designed to deliver unique business insight across a variety of key sectors and subject matters ranging from sponsorship and fan engagement to technological innovations and stadium development.
