The Hero I-League 2016-17 fixtures till Round 9 have been announced by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) today.

Defending champions Bengaluru FC will take on Shillong Lajong FC in the opening match at the Kanteerava Stadium on January 7, 2017. East Bengal Club will play host to Aizawl FC in the second fixture of the day, while Round 1 would be completed on January 8 with three fixtures including the clash of league newcomers Chennai City FC and Minerva Punjab FC.

The first Kolkata Derby of the season between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan AC has been scheduled for Feburary 12. The match will be played at the Kanchenjunga Stadium in Siliguri.
