Mohammedan Sporting Club were held to a 1-1 draw by DFA Varanasi in their second fixture of the All India Mau Nagarpalika Gold Cup 2016 on Wednesday at the Faizabad Sports Complex in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
After a barren first half, Mohammedan SC surged ahead in the 59th minute through Manvir Singh, however Suraj Kumar restored the parity for the local outfit in the 78th minute to split points.
Mohammedan Sporting, who are on four points from two matches, would take on Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala next on December 23, 2016.
