Shillong Lajong FC have announced their final squad ahead of the upcoming 2016-17 I-League season in which they face defending champions Bengaluru FC away in the league opener on Saturday, January 7.

The club from the Northeast will continue to have Thangboi Singto as their head coach and he has a 27 player squad at his disposal.

Lajong FC have lost some of their regularly, while promoting a number of boys from their junior team, bringing camp experienced Rocus Lamare besides signing new foreigners in Romanian defender Dan Gelu Ignat, Japanese midfielder Yuta Kinowaki and Cameroonian striker Aser Pierrick Dipanda.
