The All India Football Federation (AIFF) Senior Vice-President Subrata Dutta was one of the speakers at SPOBIS 2018, Europe’s leading sports business meet, which took place at the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf in Düsseldorf, Germany on January 30/31.

Subrata Dutta shared his views on the current state of Indian football, the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup which was held in India and the opportunities for European clubs and federations on the Indian subcontinent during an exclusive Q&A Session on the SPOBIS stage. Arunava Chaudhuri (arunfoot) moderated the Q&A Session named “The sleeping football giant has awoken! Why the internationalisation of European football must take place in India”.

Arunava Chaudhuri made the opening presentation on the state of Indian football for the audience before the session went into the Q&A with the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Senior Vice-President Subrata Dutta.

Dutta’s participation at SPOBIS 2018 has been arranged by Arunava Chaudhuri and Chris Punnakkattu Daniel (CPD Football) with the assistance of Krish Roy. The quartet formed the small Indian delegation at the high-profile event.
