Independent Club and Sunrise Club register impressive wins

The FAO League 2019 continued today with another double header in Cuttack.

Independent Club 5-1 Town Club

Independent Club registered an impressive 5-1 win against Town Club. The goal scorers for Independent Club were Shibo Kindo (36′, 77′), Jugeswar Bag (48′) and Pabitra Minz (51′, 58′), while Mihir Bhoi (79′) scored the lone goal for Town Club.

Pabitra Minz of Independent Club was adjudged as the Most Valuable Player of this match.

The match was officiated by Jyoti Ranjan Swain, Asirbad Kanungo, Sk. Hayat and Kishan Dash, with Sujit Kumar Patra observing the proceedings as the Match Commissioner.

Sunrise Club 4-0 Young Utkal Club

Sunrise Club won their match of the day with a 4-0 score line against Young Utkal Club. Md. Fayaz (49′), Ramesh Oram (52′), Ambika Lakra (62′) and Arpan Lakra (71′) found the back of the net to secure a comfortable win for Sunrise Club.

Arpan Lakra of Sunrise Club was adjudged as the Most Valuable Player.

Gibin Baby, Kishan Das, Bhim Kumar Chettri and Mr Akash Jackson Rout were the match officials, while Sujit Kumar Patra functioned as the Match Commissioner.
