AIFC sends proposals about coaching roles to the AIFF

Association of Indian Football Coaches (AIFC)

In a letter to the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the Association of Indian Football Coaches (AIFC) has proposed and recommended to the national body that the ISL should continue with Indian assistant coaches with a minimum AFC ‘A’ Coaching License, as they can mentor under a Pro License coach and move to the next level.

But for the I-League and 2nd Division League it be made mandatory for all clubs to have Indian head coaches holding minimum AFC ‘A’ Coaching License.

According to the AIFC, this would not only provide more opportunities for our Indian coaches (AFC Pro & A Coaching License), but also motivate the upcoming coaches to pursue coaching and upgrade themselves.
