Robert Lewandowski and Pernille Harder claim German Footballer of the Year awards

FC Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has won the German Footballer of the Year 2020 award after a successful season in all competitions. The Polish international has won the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and UEFA Champions League titles, besides winning the Golden Boot Awards in the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League.

VfL Wolfsburg star Pernille Harder has claimed the German Women’s Footballer of the Year award. The 27 year old Denmark international and one of the biggest stars in women’s football is the first foreigner to receive the award.

The German Coach of the Year award went to FC Bayern’s Hansi Flick who led his side to national and continental glory since taking over the reigns in November 2019.
