Indian Super League franchise Kerala Blasters have announced the signing of Zimbabwean defender Costa Nhamoinesu ahead of the 2020/21 season.
34 year old Harare-born Costa Nhamoinesu played football locally before joining AmaZulu FC and then Masvingo United FC. A Polish agent signed him for fifth division side KS Wisla Ustronianka before joining Zaglebie Lubin, where he spend five seasons and became one of the best left-backs of the Polish Ekstraklasa.
In 2013, Costa Nhamoinesu signed for Czech giants AC Sparta Prague and he went to play seven seasons for them before now moving to India.
Costa Nhamoinesu said, “Kerala Blasters has a fantastic plan for the season. I’m intrigued and fascinated to meet my new teammates, learn new cultures and do my best to help the club achieve their goals. I’m also very impressed by the vibe that is presented by the fans. Kerala Blasters technical director Karolis Skinkys said, “I am extremely happy to sign a player of great calibre as Costa.
