Football fans have gone to the Indian Football Association (IFA) Office on Monday afternoon to voice their displeasure over the uncertain future of Mr. Joydeep Mukherjee as IFA General Secretary.

The charismatic administrator announced on Saturday that he does not wish to continue as IFA General Secretary, citing personal reasons. As the news began to spread fans voiced their displeasure on social media and requested Mr. Mukherjee to continue as IFA General Secretary.

This afternoon fans took it to themselves to make their voices heard, protesting outside the IFA Office “against those who are not letting Mr. Mukherjee to work freely” and requested him to continue as IFA General Secretary for the betterment of Bengal football.
