The Indian women’s national team will participate in a four-nation tournament in Manaus, Brazil according to an announcement by the Brazilian FA, the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF). India will face hosts Brazil, Chile and Venezuela at the Arena Amazônia.
Brazil will be hosting the tournament as part of their preparations for the CONMEBOL Women’s Copa América 2022, while the Indian team will be getting an excellent opportunity to face quality opponents ahead of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup India 2022. Brazil head coach Pia Sundhage will announce her squad tomorrow.
India will kick-off their campaign against Brazil on November 25, before taking on Chile (November 28) and Venezuela (December 1).
