India’s Brandon Fernandes ready for Reading FC trial

Brandon Fernandes at Reading FC

Indian U19 international Brandon Fernandes has arrived in England for a two week long trial with Reading FC.

The youngster joined Africa Soccer Development Academy in Cape Town two years ago after an impressive show for the Salgaocar FC junior team at the Manchester United Soccer Skills Competition in 2009.

Brandon arrived in England on Tuesday and he is expected to undergo medicals before the trial with the English Premiership club.

The youngster from Goa holds a Portuguese passport and therefore he won’t face any problems to obtain a work permit, if the trial at Reading FC results in a contract for the India U19 international.

The likes of Sunil Chhetri [+], Subrata Pal [+], Gurpreet Singh Sandhu [+], Luciano Narsingh [+] and Harmeet Singh [+] have already left their mark in the “Indian Summer 2012” and Brandon is the next Indian player to have a try in Europe.

Let’s wait and see how Brandon’s trial with the English outfit will proceed and let’s keep our fingers crossed for a successful time at Reading FC.

Please LIKE to get further updates on the trial in the next couple of days!
