Tajikistan’s squad for India friendly

Tajikistan will host the Indian national team in an international friendly match in Khujand on August 14.

Tajikistan’s national coach Mukhsin Mukhamadiev has called-up a 23-member squad to take on Wim Koevermans’ boys [+ India Squad] at the 20-Letie Nezavisimosti Stadium (20 Years of Independence Stadium).

Experienced midfielder Khurshed Mahmudov will be leading the Central Asian side. The Tajikistan national team is build out of home-based players from the Tajik League, while 2012 runners-up FC Istiqlol Dushanbe will be represented by nine players in the squad.

Tajikistan is ranked 114th in the latest FIFA World Rankings.
