Bundesliga giants FC Bayern Munich have won the FIFA Club World Cup Morocco 2013 after a 2-0 win over Raja Casablanca in Marrakesh on Saturday.

Dante (7′) and Thiago (22′) scored the goals to wrap up a memorable year for the Germans who sealed a historic quintuple comprising of the Bundesliga title, German Cup (DFB-Pokal), UEFA Champions League, UEFA SuperCup and finally the FIFA Club World Cup.

Pep Guardiola’s side proved too strong for Raja Casablance in a match which was fully dominated by the Bundesliga champions. Dante opened the score sheet with a powerful shot from a close range after Jerome Boateng headed a corner from Xherdan Shaqiri into the path of the Brazilian international.

Bayern increased the pressure on the Moroccan side and their dominace paid off when David Alaba cut inside and set up Thiago who put the ball past Raja keeper Askri with a fine shot from the edge of the area.

Raja Casablanca had nothing to offer against the Germans, while Bayern kept the lead to secure a 2-0 win to win the FIFA Club World Cup for the first time.

FIFA’s Technical Study Group awarded Bayern’s Franck Ribéry the adidas Golden Ball for the Best Player of the Tournament, ahead of teammate Philipp Lahm and Raja’s Mouhssine Iajour.

The French international also claimed the TOYOTA Award which is awarded to the most outstanding player selected by FIFA’s Technical Study Group.

The FIFA Fair Play Trophy went to Bayern Munich.
