Hero Indian Super League (ISL) side Chennaiyin FC have announced the signing of former France and Manchester United star Mikaël Silvestre.
The 37 year old defender will join the team from Chennai, which will be coached by manager-cum-player Marco Materazzi, in the inaugural season of the ISL.
Silvestre has played for various high profile clubs around Europe including Inter Milan, Manchester United, Arsenal and Werder Bremen. He represented the French national team in 40 senior international with two goals to his name.
