DFB-Pokal Round 2 draw produces interesting fixtures

The DFB-Pokal (German Cup) Round 2 draw took place on Sunday evening at the Deutsches Fußballmuseum (German Football Museum) in Dortmund.

The draw was carried out by former Germany international Christoph Metzelder and Germany U-21 MNT head coach Stefan Kuntz during a live tv broadcast hosted by Alexander Bommes.

Record champions FC Bayern Munich have to travel to Bundesliga 2 side VfL Bochum, while the top clash will be between Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach.

The matches would be played on Tuesday/Wednesday, October 29/30 across the country with the smaller clubs looking to welcome their more established opponents.
