To celebrate Manchester City FC’s record-breaking 2018/19 season, the club is taking the men’s and women’s trophies on a global Trophy Tour, presented by Etihad Airways and the next and final stop is India!

The last stop of the trophy tour 2019 is supported locally by Rexona and TECNO and it will be travelling to Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata to give fans across India the chance to see the trophies.

Chennai

From 12pm on Sunday, November 17, Manchester City will be hosting a free football festival at the VR Chennai shopping mall (Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Anna Nagar), with a day of fun activities for all the family.

Football fans will be able to have their photo taken with our six trophies, create their own player walkout video, and learn from the Manchester City coaches on hand to offer coaching clinics and skills sessions.

Mumbai

On Wednesday, November 20, trophies will be displayed at the Pumaflagship store located in Durga Chambers Linking Road from 6pm, with the special appearance of Club legend Micah Richards at 8pm for a Q&A

As part of the clubs global community work, they will soon be launching this year’s Cityzens Giving campaign with a new project in Mumbai.

To celebrate the start of the campaign, where City fans decide how the club distribute £400,000 of charitable funding to youth-led community football projects around the world, they will be taking the six trophies into one of the local communities in Mumbai which will benefit from the project over the next three years.

Kolkata

And finally Manchester City host their first official City Live! match screening event in Kolkata on Saturday, November 23 for their Premier League match against Chelsea.
