The latest FIFA ‘Coca Cola’ Men’s World Ranking were released today by the world football governing body and in the October rankings, India gained a spot to 108th position behind the Faroe Islands, but ahead of Estonia; while 2018 FIFA World Cup semifinalists Belgium stays No. 1.

India have 1187 points, the same like in September and they stay in 19th position of the Asian (AFC) rankings.

India played no match in the last window and it is unknown when India will next play their 2022 FIFA World Cup / 2023 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers which is currently unknown due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

In South Asia, India remain in top spot ahead of the Maldives (155th), Nepal (170th), Bangladesh (187th), Bhutan (189th), Pakistan (200th) and Sri Lanka (206th) in what was another mixed month for the region.

There were no changes across the top 5. Belgium (1,765 points) stay No. 1, ahead of 2018 FIFA World Cup winners France (1,752 pts), 2019 Copa America winners Brazil (1,725 points), England (1,669 pts), and Portugal (1,661 pts) to complete the top five.
